Cincinnati Cats
Helping Those Helping Cats
2009 - 2010 (c) Copyright Cincinnati Cats Inc
Our current focus is to help the effectiveness of individuals and small rescue groups. One of the large obstacles to any rescue group
is getting non-feral cats adopted so that they can bring in more. If you are at capacity, cats need to be adopted so that you can
assist more.
Those working individually don't normally have the advantage of the resources that shelters and larger organizations
have to get the word out about their available cats. Websites, dedicated email addresses, listings on adoption sites that exclude
individuals, etc. Cincinnati Cats is offering to help this situation by providing website hosting and management, adoption listings
on major listing sites, etc.
We admire and appreciate those who pick up a stray cat or kitten when they see one, but our services
are offered to those people who do more. If you are seeking to help the outdoor cat population in your neighborhood, feeding
ferals, trapping and neutering, taking in friendly strays and placing them for adoption, we would like to help you.
What we expect
from our associated rescuers is minimal. We don't plan any big fund raising events to attend or work at. There will not be any donation
goals you have to meet. There will be some necessary documentation to qualify as an associated rescue person or group and records
will need to be forwared of the cats you are helping. It will be up to you if you want to assist others in their efforts or strictly
keep your work close to home.
